Library

The club library houses over two hundred books, magazines, videos and articles which are all available on free, short-term loan to members.
Publications vary from historical accounts of the birth of the Tasmanian salmonoid fishery, to author's whimsical accounts of their glory days of fishing, to texts on modern fly patterns, how to fish well, and guides to favoured waters - home and abroad.

Club heritage is reflected in signed copies of the works of accredited writers who have been associated with the Club - the likes of the late David Scholes, Don Gilmour and George Harding.

Borrow texts by Tony Richie and by chance, share a cuppa with him at a club meeting. Ply the waters gently with a Peck's Dun, Goughie's Fly, or the Edith Emily - details of which have been extracted from library publications, then praise their creators when you next see them at a club function.

The fishing season never really closes, when you have some good winter's reading to wade into.
